Breast Lift in Miami
Restore a youthful, uplifted breast contour with a breast lift at Elevé Cosmetic Surgery. Our skilled surgeons use proven techniques to address sagging and drooping, helping you regain a more youthful silhouette and renewed confidence.
About Breast Lift
A breast lift, or mastopexy, is designed to counteract the effects of aging, pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight loss, and gravity that can cause breasts to lose their youthful shape and firmness. At Elevé, we understand that sagging breasts can affect your self-confidence and how clothing fits, which is why we offer customized breast lift solutions tailored to your unique anatomy.
During the procedure, excess skin is removed, breast tissue is reshaped and lifted, and the nipple-areola complex is repositioned to a more youthful height. The result is firmer, more elevated breasts with improved shape and projection. For patients who also desire increased volume, a breast lift can be combined with augmentation for comprehensive enhancement.
Our cosmetic surgeons use advanced surgical techniques to minimize scarring while maximizing aesthetic outcomes. We take the time to understand your goals and create a personalized treatment plan that delivers natural-looking, beautiful results that help you feel confident and comfortable in your own skin.
Who Needs a Breast Lift?
Most breast-lift patients have changes from pregnancy, breastfeeding, aging, or genetics rather than weight loss. We also see patients with breast laxity after significant weight loss. Candidacy is determined at consultation.
Post-Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Pregnancy and breastfeeding stretch breast skin and ligaments. A lift restores upper-pole fullness and lifts the nipple position. Many post-pregnancy patients combine a breast lift with a mommy makeover.
Aging
Skin elasticity decreases with time. A breast lift restores a youthful, lifted contour without requiring implants.
Genetics
Some patients are genetically predisposed to breast ptosis (sagging) regardless of pregnancy or weight.
Weight Loss
After significant weight loss — bariatric, GLP-1 (Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro), or natural — breast volume drops and skin becomes lax. A lift is often part of comprehensive skin removal surgery.
How it Works
Comprehensive Consultation
During your consultation, we'll evaluate your breast anatomy, discuss your aesthetic goals, and determine the best lifting technique for your needs. We'll explain incision patterns and what to expect during recovery.
Customized Surgical Plan
We create a tailored surgical approach based on the degree of sagging and your desired outcome. You'll receive detailed pre-operative instructions and have all your questions thoroughly answered.
Surgery Day
Under general anesthesia, we remove excess skin, reshape breast tissue, and reposition the nipple-areola complex to a more youthful position. The procedure typically takes 2-3 hours.
Recovery & Results
Follow post-operative care instructions including wearing a support bra and avoiding strenuous activities. Most patients return to work within 1-2 weeks and see final results as swelling subsides over several months.
Candidates for Breast Lift
You don't need to be a weight-loss patient. Most breast-lift patients have changes from pregnancy, breastfeeding, aging, or genetics. We also see patients with breast laxity after weight loss. Candidacy is determined at consultation.

At Elevé, we provide thorough evaluations to determine if a breast lift is the right solution for your concerns and goals.
Breast Lift Techniques: Choosing the Right Mastopexy
The right lift technique depends on how much skin needs removal and where the nipple sits relative to the breast crease.
Crescent / Periareolar
Smallest incision (around the areola). Best for very mild ptosis. Limited lift.
Lollipop (Vertical)
Incision around the areola plus vertically down to the breast crease. Best for moderate ptosis. Most common technique.
Anchor (Inverted-T / Wise Pattern)
Lollipop incision plus a horizontal incision along the breast crease. Best for severe ptosis or after major weight loss when the most skin needs to be removed.
Breast lift may be combined with implants for additional fullness, fat transfer for natural volume, or breast reduction when size reduction is also a goal — when these combinations are appropriate for the patient. What's appropriate for you is determined by your surgeon.
